The Three Horizon Rush Launch Events
At launch, there are three confirmed Horizon Rush events, each set in a distinct Japanese biome:
Peer Pressure – Tokyo City Docks
A fast-paced, urban dockyard course with massive jumps and winding paths around container stacks.
Sotoyama Ski Resort – Alpine Region
A snowy, elevation-heavy course across ski slopes, featuring icy turns and off-road jumps.
Irokawa Space Center – Coastal Spaceport
A coastal route themed around a futuristic spaceport, with ramps and wide-open sprint sections.
Event Walkthrough: "Peer Pressure" (Tokyo City Docks)
This is the most detailed Rush event revealed so far. You can tackle it solo, with friends in co-op, or in competitive multiplayer. Here’s how to navigate it efficiently:
1. Start & Rooftops
The event kicks off with a high-speed launch across a rooftop.
Pro Tip: Pick a rally-tuned car like the MG Metro 6R4 or Ford RS200. Their handling makes it easier to blend asphalt sections with jumps without losing speed.
2. Sector One: The Container Stacks
The course drops into the dockyard with tight, twisting paths between towering shipping containers.
Dynamic Obstacles: Watch the container cranes—they move barriers just in time. Maintain momentum to slip under them without losing precious seconds.
3. Sector Two: Smashables & Spectacle
Race through areas with destructible billboards and crates to keep your Skill Chain alive.
Visual Tip: A helicopter camera follows your car, delivering cinematic “Showcase” visuals as you speed through, so anticipate the dynamic camera angles when lining up stunts.
4. Sector Three: The Off-Road Loop
The dockyard transitions into a rally-style off-road section with loose gravel and small ramps.
Timing: The course is divided into sectors. Check your split times at each gate to see if you’re ahead of your personal best or competitors.
5. The Finish: Warehouse Sprint
The last stretch is a sprint through warehouse corridors.
High Score Focus: Your mastery is judged on overall time and stunt points collected from jumps and smashables. Precision in this final section often separates top leaderboard performers.
Progression & Replayability
Wristbands: Completing Rush events at the end of specific “Rounds” earns you higher-tier Wristbands (Road, Dirt, Cross Country), pushing you toward the Gold rank.
Replayability: Unlike classic Showcases, Horizon Rush events are designed for repeat play. Revisit events to perfect sector times, earn more stunt points, and climb global leaderboards.
Horizon Rush brings a fresh, adrenaline-packed twist to Forza Horizon 6. With practice, sector mastery, and the right car setup, you can dominate these courses and rack up both fast times and spectacular stunt chains.
