How to Unlock the Festival and Major Events

Getting access to major events isn’t automatic. You need to follow the campaign loop carefully:

Complete Horizon Qualifiers：These initial races are your entry trials. They teach you the basics of handling, navigating Japan’s diverse map, and mastering different car types.
Finish the Horizon Invitational
Once you pass the qualifiers, the Invitational awaits. Winning here earns you your first Festival Wristband, officially making you part of the Horizon Festival.
Progress via Wristbands
Wristbands aren’t just cosmetic—they gate your progress. As you earn new colors, you unlock:
New Regions: Explore different areas of Japan, from Tokyo’s tight streets to snowy mountain passes.
Faster Car Classes: Higher-tier vehicles like Hypercars stay locked until you reach the Purple Wristband.
Special Events: At the end of each wristband tier, complete spectacular events like Showcases or Horizon Rush courses to move up.
Major Event Highlights
Horizon Rush
High-speed obstacle courses that test precision and timing. Key locations include Tokyo City Docks and Irokawa Space Center. These are more than just races—they’re about hitting every sector perfectly.
Showcase Events
Huge spectacle races, often with crazy setups like a mech chase against Chaser Zero. These events reward skill and creativity with the cars you’ve unlocked.
Legend Island
The ultimate endgame area. Only accessible after collecting all seven wristbands. Here, you can tackle the Legend Island Circuit or the massive Colossus race, which loops across the full map.
Key Guides

Throughout your journey, two new characters help you navigate the Festival world:

Mei – A Japanese car builder who shares tips on car performance and tuning.
Jordy – A motorsport enthusiast who guides you through the racing strategy and pacing required for major events.

Following their guidance, completing qualifiers, and earning wristbands will unlock the full FH6 experience, letting you access Japan’s diverse tracks, the fastest cars, and the most epic events the festival has to offer.
